Fall Fun, Fresh-Baked Treats and Pumpkin Fest Return to Tim’s Pumpkin Patch

There is something special about fall in Central New York—the changing leaves, crisp afternoons, the smell of fresh apple cider, and, of course, pumpkins. At Tim’s Pumpkin Patch in Marietta, families can enjoy all of those seasonal traditions in one place.

Located at 2901 Rose Hill Road, Tim’s Pumpkin Patch opens its doors throughout September and October, offering visitors a full day of autumn activities, food, shopping, and family fun.

And this year, there is an exciting new addition to the calendar: Pumpkin Fest, October 10–12.

A New Pumpkin Fest Weekend

For one weekend only, Tim’s Pumpkin Patch will introduce a new admission system designed specifically for its busiest weekend of the season.

From October 10 through October 12, visitors will be required to purchase their admission tickets in advance. Daily admission will be limited in an effort to improve crowd control, reduce waiting times, and create a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

The Pumpkin Fest ticket will cost the same as regular admission, and there will be no difference in what visitors receive once they're inside the farm.

The advance-ticket requirement is being introduced as a one-weekend trial. The farm hopes to hear from visitors about their experience before deciding whether a similar system might be used again in the future.

Visitors planning to attend Pumpkin Fest are encouraged to purchase their tickets ahead of time.

Plenty to See and Do

Tim’s Pumpkin Patch offers plenty of reasons to spend the day at the farm.

Wagon rides are available on Fridays from noon to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout September and October.

For those looking for a little more excitement, the farm's apple cannons operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The farm itself is open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during September and October, giving families plenty of flexibility when planning their fall outing.

The Bakery and Gift Store are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., providing the perfect place to end a day at the farm—or a tempting reason to stop in for a treat.

Come Hungry

A trip to the pumpkin patch wouldn't be complete without enjoying some classic fall food, and Tim's Bakery offers an impressive selection of homemade-style seasonal favorites.

Apple cider donuts and pumpkin donuts are available individually or by the half dozen and baker's dozen. Visitors can also choose from chocolate chip, molasses, ghost sugar, and pumpkin sugar cookies, along with pumpkin whoopie pies, brownies, muffins, and several varieties of pumpkin bread.

For pie lovers, the bakery offers both apple pie and pumpkin pie, with slices available alongside ice cream or whipped cream.

And then there are the specialty items.

Apple pie nachos, apple cider floats, apple crisp or pumpkin crisp stackers, ice cream, milkshakes, and weekly cookie-top cold brew specials add plenty of variety to the menu.

Something to Sip

Fall beverages are another highlight.

Guests can enjoy cold or hot apple cider, apple cider slushies, hot chocolate, coffee, pumpkin spice lattes, and pumpkin cold brew.

For a particularly festive treat, the bakery offers a pumpkin cold brew and pumpkin donut combination.

The weekly milkshake special is another reason to follow the farm on social media, as the flavor changes from week to week.

A Destination for Fall Traditions

With its combination of farm activities, wagon rides, apple cannons, baked goods, shopping, and seasonal scenery, Tim's Pumpkin Patch offers more than simply a place to buy a pumpkin.

It's a destination where families can spend time together and enjoy the traditions that make autumn memorable.

Parents can grab a cup of hot apple cider while children enjoy the attractions. Families can take a wagon ride, explore the farm, pick up some fall decorations, and finish the day with an apple cider donut or a slice of pie.

The farm's Bakery and Gift Store provide even more opportunities to take a little bit of fall home.

Plan Ahead for Pumpkin Fest

Because October 10–12 is expected to be especially busy, visitors attending Pumpkin Fest should plan ahead and purchase admission tickets before arriving.

For regular September and October visits outside of Pumpkin Fest weekend, the farm's normal admission procedures remain in place.
